Damn girl get rid of that shouting, colorful eye makeup in the office!
As I struggle to fit on to my prenatal clothes and again use my shoes! (thank God!) as I am going back to work in less than a month after my 78 days leave, I could not help but salvage some of my make up and try some on to myself to see if I still have the talent. hehehe! Going through the strokes and tips that JRP taught me, I remember one lass from work(will not say whether she’s from my previous or current employer
). Anyway, whenever I see her, there seems to be always wrong with how I look at her. I am not a fashion guru nor an artist but as someone with lectures on dressing and doing make up, what she does is not really appropriate.
She matches her eye makeup with what she wears which is alright as this had been done for quite sometime now, but violet eye makeup to match your violet blouse, bag and shoes? No, no, no! There are exceptions to the rules, and most of all we are in the workplace, not in the theather! –> “that last phrase I got from my professor from St. Scho, only she used school not workplace”. Anyway, this is always the case for her, match the eye with the top and the bag and the shoes. Eyesore! sometimes I could see her with blue eye makeup, blue big bangles, blue blouse, blue bag, blue shoes! girl where’s the sun?! I’m sorry, making a mockery out of someone’s weaknesses is rude and some of you might say, just tell her what’s wrong. I could do that but the problem is, we don’t know each other. We might have exchange a word or two but this is because of some work related issue. Being someone who could come up to her and say “tone down the eye makeup and the matching game” wouldn’t be me. Probably a friend, and that’s not me–> at least to her.
So what’s my point? I dunno, just thought of sharing this view and could you be someone who wears make-up at least make sure it’s appropriate.
